Two Vice President Promotions at PGAV Destinations

World-leading design firm promotes leaders Jeff Havlik and Diane Lochner

Jeff_2(St. Louis, MO – September 2, 2014) – PGAV Destinations senior project manager and attraction designer Jeff Havlik and project manager Diane Lochner have been promoted to vice presidents at the St. Louis-based design firm.

In their new positions, Mr. Havlik and Mrs. Lochner will provide exceptional leadership in the theme and water park and culture, heritage, and tourism sectors, respectively, and will work to develop innovative systems that deliver better designs more efficiently for their clients.

Having been with PGAV for eight years, Lochner’s destination consulting work can be found throughout SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, Cincinnati Museum Center, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, the Missouri Botanical Garden, the developing Patriot’s Point in South Carolina, and many others. Havlik recently completed his 29th year with PGAV Destinations, and has left his mark on countless iconic destinations around the world, including SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, Guinness record-setting Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Port Aventura and Isla Magica in Spain, Six Flags Great Adventure, and both Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Tampa.

A native of St. Louis, Lochner currently serves on the Corporate Council of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Previously she has served with the St. Louis County Port Authority, the City of Ladue Zoning Board of Adjustment, and the Knowlton School Campaign Committee at The Ohio State University. She holds a bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas and master of Architecture from The Ohio State University, and is a registered architect in Missouri and Illinois. She is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), and is an active member of the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC), American Alliance of Museums (AAM), and The International Association of Amusement Parks (IAAPA).

Havlik holds a bachelors of Science and bachelors of Architecture from Ball State University, and is a registered architect in both Missouri and Indiana. He is currently a member of IAAPA, The World Waterpark Association (WWA), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the Shaw Place Neighborhood Association.
